Good morning Mr. Penske,
My name is Lora and I work for a nonprofit organization based out of San Diego California. I am just a bottom of the line employee but I am desperately trying to fill a need in our company that I think you might be able to help me with.
Our company has over 42 low income/senior housing and we help many different types of families. I work with 120 families myself and one of my chosen job duties is picking up food for disabled low income seniors who don't have cars... the starving forgotten people. I could tell you stories that would break your heart. I am one of those who work behind the scenes, and see first hand the sad lives of the forgotten.
I have been using my personal mini van since 2004 and it's taking a toll on it, it's almost at the point of the engine blowing and it's stressing out my husband.
I am trying to help my company get a van/truck donated so I can still continue to help these people without using my personal van. If you would consider donating one, it will allow me to continue helping the most needy and it would allow me to pick up more food to distribute. We are a nonprofit and have all the paperwork needed.
