Matthew sent a message to Meg Whitman President and CEO, Hewlett-Packard Company – email address that said:
Good Morning Ms. Whitman, I am writing you today to thank you for supporting Mrs. Clinton. While I disagree with you on many issues, I commend you for your rebukes of Trump. Your statements about other demagogues in history and how they came to power were especially poignant to me and I hope will be heard above the din of partisan politics. Thank you for speaking clearly, putting our Nation's future above party affiliation and above all, being a true leader at a time where other supposed, elected "leaders" in Congress only offer tepid scolding of Mr. Trump but will not separate from him, putting fear of political fallout above morality, empathy and reason.
Sincerely,
Matthew
