Mikhail sent a message to Akio Toyoda President and CEO, Toyota Motor Corporation – email address that said:
My name is Mikhail. I live in Buffalo Grove IL,
For the past 35 years I own 5 Toyotas and 2 Lexus’s. All the years when I change oil at different dealerships, I bring my own oil and never have any problems until yesterday.
Yesterday I went to Northbrook Toyota to change my oil. The service advisor refuse to except my own oil.
The service manager wasn’t at the dealership, but he call someone and stated that this is the manager
and they can’t except my oil. I change oil with dealership not good oil.
The oil dealership use is refine oil, not real one.
Then I call Toyota and would like to discuss my problem with Northbrook dealership.
Your customer representative connect me with the same dealership and let me talk to who knows whom.
I call again and asked for Toyota distributer in Chicago and service manager name.
Your Customer representative refuse provide to me the name, address, and phone number for distributer, and the name of service representative for the area.
I don’t understand when the distribution company and service rep. name and phone number become a secret.
Would someone from your office please call me, and we can discuss the correct procedure to change oil at Toyota dealerships.
Thank you very much, Mikhail
