Connie sent a message to Kevin Mansell – Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Kohl’s Corporation – Email Address that said:

On April 13, 2014, I sent three E-Cards from Kohls to my son

Two of those cards were for his girlfriends children, Tatiana and Natalya. The cards were for $30.00 each.

The card I used was a Master Card and I paid the card off and closed the account on 5-16-15.

The two $30.00 cards have not been used and I have called your customer service number and spoken to a Supervisor, Justin. Justin advised me that the e-cards would be credited and reloaded and I would receive a call back once this was done. I was given the expectation of getting the call back within 24 hours.

I never received a call back and I called again Thursday night and left Justin a message. I called again today, 8-6-16, and was advised that the numbers on the gift cards could not be found and there was nothing that could be done. I know it is only $60.00 but my money is not freely given to me. I earn it! $60.00 to me is like $6,000 to others.

I had the understanding that gift cards and e-cards do not expire. After working in an Executive Office with Lowe's, I am familiar with the gift card process and I know what customer service is and how it is to be given.

I would like the e-cards re-issued so the mother can take her girls shopping.

If these cards cannot be credited and re-loaded because I have closed the account, I do not understand why you cannot issue two new cards.

You have my money, now I want the privilege of these two little girls to spend it at one of your stores.

I would like to see some real customer service out of Kohls.

Thank you,

Connie
