Dear Mr Joyce, Back in March 2016 Qantas advertised special deals on direct flights to – Alan Joyce email address

jocelyn kerse sent a message to Alan Joyce CEO, Qantas Airways Limited – email address that said:

Dear Mr Joyce,
Back in March 2016 Qantas advertised special deals on direct flights to Perth, which we purchased. Our only grandchildren live in Perth and we spend every Xmas with our Perth families. Then on the 15th June Your Customer Services contacted us to say that our departure from NZ has been changed. I was away at the time and my husband handled it. To my horror we are now booked on flights. not direct but through Sydney. Whoever my husband dealt with wasn't really concerned with the inconvenience to us over this change. Also there was no explanation why our flights were being changed!
Firstly: We are now in our 70s and to have to transfer from one air terminal to another can be taxing if time is short!
Secondly: We will be unable to pick up our Duty Free [Xmas Grog etc] as planned as it is not a direct flight!
Is there any way we can be put back on a direct daytime flight to Perth from Auckland?
