John sent a message to Mark Fields – President and Chief Executive Officer of Ford Motor Company email address that said:

Mr. Fields,
On November 6, 2014 I had the harmonic balancer replaced with other associated work at Athens Ford in Athens, Ga. My daughter was in her first year of law school at UGA. When she called me about her mustang making noise I told her to take it there. Well they repaired it however last Monday August 1st she sent me a picture of oil trailing the mustang as she pulled into the parking lot of her boss (summer intern program) to ride with her for a court hearing. I paid a towing service bill to bring the car back to Cordele so the mechanic I have used since 1991 could work on it. It was leaking from the seal (harmonic balancer - previous repair) and the harmonic balancer was worn out and needed replaced. My question is was the first job done at all or was the torque job (2 part process) not done correctly? I had also paid Athens for to do a brake job and my mechanic informed me it appeared they did a slap a pad job - the rotors appeared not to have been done - I have pictures. I also have the seal and balancer that he replaced and can send you pictures of those as well. I feel that I need to be reimbursed for what Athens Ford did - Harmonic Balancer repair and questionable rotor work ($1,195.65) plus the 550.00 towing fee for a total of $1,745.65. I have owned a lot of Ford products during my life and am in the process of looking to put my daughter in a new or slightly used vehicle but question if this should be a Ford at this time. I can email you copies of invoices and pictures of parts and rotors if you so desire. I just think that I need some type of satisfaction. My daughter has voiced her concerns of letting other parents and students know of this issue via social media and direct contact at UGA. Please feel free to contact me at my email address or cell
Thank you,

John
