Gordon sent a message to David P. Steiner – President and Chief Executive Officer of Waste Management, Inc. – Email Address that said:
Mr. Steiner, I am a facilities maintenance manager in the Kansas City area. I wanted you to be aware that our roll off dumpster pickup since your company has bought deffenbaugh industries is deplorable. I called this morning and was informed that our pickup will be friday (and I doubt that will even happen). Before WM bought deffenbaugh, we had 48 hour turn around AT THE LATEST.I have called other companies and they have a 24 hour turn around on roll off dumpster pick up guaranteed. Our dumpster will be full by the time you all pick up and we will probably have trash backed up in our hallway AGAIN. I have gotten no satisfaction from the local contact and have only gotten excuses that I am supposed to understand. I have owned a company in the past and figured that you would want to know that the Kansas City area will be lost to you soon if no changes are made (It's been on the news). Please let me know your thought on our specific dilema. Thank you, Gordon
