Mark sent a message to Marco Zappacosta- co-founder and the Chief Executive Officer of Thumbtack- email address that said:
Mr. Zappacosta,
The following is a paste of an email I sent 7/31 as a response to several "We were not able to verify your license" messages from Thumbtack:
"What in the world goes on within the license verification department at Thumbtack ??
This license was resubmitted for renewal with Thumbtack several weeks before it was due. It is easily verifiable on CSLB website. I emailed photocopies of ALL 5 Licenses along with contact information for State of CA, County of LA, and City of LA more than a week ago.
After sending various emails to Thumbtack concerning my licenses, Thumbtack apparently cannot verify any of them–even though;
1) They are issued through public agencies,
2) I have supplied contact information for these agencies,
3) The agencies contact information is readily available on the internet
4) Thumbtack has photocopies of ALL 5 Licenses (7/20/16.)
Come on Thumbtack, it is beginning to feel like someone in license verification is playing a game with my listing.
Please forward this email to someone committed to Thumbtack’s success, I would sincerely appreciate some help with this issue."
Still, only one of my licenses is included in my Thumbtack listing.
