Philip sent a message to Stephen Burke CEO, NBCUniversal, Inc. – email address that said:
Good morning Mr Burke,
Hello, I'm an NBC and Comcast subscriber and viewer for more than 40 years, having seen many wonderful programs on your broadcast and cable TV channels. But now Im upset with your corporation. You make a big deal in Olympics commercials that you can always view an individual event's video
That is simply not true.!!! Yes I can view an individual Olympic event Only If I Have a "Pay for TV content" account that can show me TV shows. I think this policy is ignoring the open spirit of the Olympics. Your corporation has priced the Olympics content out of the budget of the common man. The Olympics is supposed to be all about the common man and how we should all come together as one world. And since NBC has an exclusive contract with the IOC for Olympics content, I cannot go anywhere else for this content. I call on your to allow viewing of Olympics events offline for free with no Comcast or other "Pay for TV" account. Do this in the basic spirit of the Olympics itself, OK? Thanks for reading my email message.
Phil
