Dear Mr. Lampert,

When I purchased three portable air conditioner units on July 27, 2016, I
anticipated a cooler home and better health. Instead, I have experienced a great
deal of unnecessary stress and a determination to stop shopping at the Carson,
California, Sears store. Additionally, until I can afford to purchase a new,
nonSears vacuum cleaner, I will buy my vacuum supplies at the Torrance Del Amo
Sears.

Sadly, I selected an installer who produced a substandard result. However, the
misinformation received from two Sears Carson staffers combined with that of
numerous Customer Service Representatives in the Philippines has solidified my
belief that the founder of Sears would be ashamed of the treatment I received.
My July 27, 2016, sales check  totals $1175.94. From my vantage
point, that is a substantial amount of money, something I was willing to spend
to feel more comfortable in my home.

Just recently, since I was getting conflicting information from Customer Service
staffers, I called the Carson Sears store and spoke with Reyna, one of the
managers. Despite being told repeatedly by Customer Service staffers that Kepco
Appliance Installation could check the installation (and, of course, I would pay
for it), Reyna got through to the company (something I was unable to do), and
she was told that they could not provide me with service; I need to hire a
handyman.

Why your company hires individuals in the Philippines when there are so many
people in the United States who need jobs is a puzzle to me. Why I wrote an
email to your organization, received a response from Farrell, and I responded and received no answer is another
strange event. Mr. Lampert, I have pages and pages of notes which detail names
and dates of calls and what the individuals said; yet, I feel there is no need
to spend any additional time noting the specifics in this email.

However, if one of your staff members is interested in regaining my trust in
Sears, then please contact me with the willingness to provide me with at least
$120. I have wasted many hours as well as negatively affected my health,
something that truly defeated the purpose of my purchase.

Regards,
Meryl
