Van sent a message to Christopher J. Nassetta – President and Chief Executive Officer of Hilton Worldwide – Email Address that said:
Dear Mr. Nassetta,
I am writing to you regarding my below average stay at your Doubletree Hotel in Ontario, Ca. When I pulled up to the hotel on Monday, I realized this was the old Red Lion Inn that I had visited about 25 years ago, that still looks the same as it did 25 years ago. I am surprised that Hilton did not demolish this old hotel which is dark, dank, disjointed and disconnected, when you purchased it or rebranded it as a Doubletree. The rooms are dark with poor lighting and need update lighting as well as the entire hotel. My room had an old TV, old furniture, old mirrors and a bathtub that had a dark stain. Plus, I had to turn the refrigerator off in the room since it was making a humming sound. The water pressure from the bathroom sink was not good either. By the way, I was put in building 3 which is disconnected from the rest of the hotel and you have to walk a long way to get to the lobby. The layout and design of this hotel just doesn't make sense. We as Hilton guests and Hilton Honors guests deserve a better experience and an above average hotel room than my terrible stay at the Ontario Doubletree. This hotel really does not represent what we expect from a Doubletree or a Hilton brand property.
In conclusion, I am asking for a voucher for a one night stay at any Hilton hotel or 20,000 Hilton Honors points added to my account. Hopefully, this feedback helps and something is done about this property right away.
Regards,
Van
