Hi I have tried to contact several people for help. I started working for Walmart in 2006 as cashier and doing Dept. 82. While working on 82 stock in2013 I hurt my back. The Dr. put me on light duty. I had to write a letter to corporate for permission to sit on a chair. Which was granted. I was terminated in Apr of this year. I will admit that I was late a lot but the new attendance policy got me. On the same day that I was let go they told me I could reapply in 60 days. Which I did. I was in the store and spoke to Rob about getting my job back. I forgot to say it's store 1968. Rob was to talk to Jack about it and let me know but did not so I called to talk to him and was told I could not without going through chain of command . So I asked for personal office. I was told they were not hiring. I called again and was told I failed assessment test to take it again in 60 days which I did and passed. I called and was told that I had to be able to do the job. I contacted Ken Brewer on the advice of the open door. He told me there was nothing he could do for me. I was then told to contact you. Now I've done the very same job from the time I started there. In 10 yrs. I have never gotten a bad evaul nd the papers you have to sign when the register under or over I signed 1 in 10 yrs. The app. says that you work handicap now they are telling me that I have to be able to do the job.
All I want to do is go back to work. My workmans comp case is still open so I still have a Drs. note stating light duty. I applied For Door Greeter and part time cashier. I asked for part time because I thought it would be easier on my back. I am about to lose all that I have. I'm about to b e kicked out of my home and lose my car. I just want to work. Is there anything you can do. Rob told me to apply at another Walmart. If he's telling me that he wont hire me why apply another . It's because of the job that my back is the way it is. My
