Bob sent a message to John Martin CEO, Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. – email address that said:
Good Day Mr. Martin, I am wondering if you have noticed as the CEO of TBS, that CNN has more Former analysts than reporting the news in a 24 hr. period.
I hope with your business experience, Does it make sense to have so many former (AKA military, newspaper columnists, Obama, Bush, Clinton Admin) analysts to better educate the American public. On a typical weekday night, I see an average of 6 people all trying to chime in on a topic. Sounds more like a bunch of whiners and who has the loudest voice.
I am assuming you’re paying to provide these so called expert opinions on any topic of the day through your company? I have a suggestion for you and the producers of CNN, could you please just have 2 experts, 1 for the topic in question and 1 against the topic in question. That’s it!!
That way the American public gets to see and really listen to each side of the issue at hand.
I would challenge you and the CNN producers to take that extra money that you would be handing over to the many experts and place it into the following Charites:
1) National Alliance to End Homelessness
2) Fisher House Foundation
3) Goodwill Industries International
In your busy day, please take about 5-15 minutes at night and watch and listen to CNN on any typical day. After that amount of time you will see the excessive noise of so many experts. Many of my co-workers talk about this topic often. I will be sending this letter to the other CEO’s of our US networks.
Have a great day and remember this quote-“Strong people don’t put others down.. They lift them up. “Michael
