Hi Peter,

Having been a regular customer of IKEA (since last 6 years), I visited your Ikea Tampines shop this afternoon with my family and spent couple of hours selecting a sofa and a chair for myself. There were 3 different staff at different intervals attending to customer query. Except one man, the other 2 were quite rude and I was felt embarassed talking to them. Further, the person at the delivery counter was behaving as if he was going to do me a favour by delivering those goods totaling ~SGD 900, despite there being a separate charge for delivery.

Does IKEA promotes such weird and rude behavior of their staff as CUSTOMER SERVICE. Do you think people like me will ever visit your store again. It didnt ended here. I requested for a delivery by 15th as I will be away for 2-3 weeks and was told that delivery can happen only on 16th Sep else a daily demurrage of SGD 20 needs to be paid. Is Ikea being so generous with their suppliers as well when there is a delay in supply.

I am 100% sure that such behaviors towards customers in an increasingly competitive business landscape will not help you in your next market - INDIA.

Feeling really frustrated having waster 4 hrs on a Sunday.
