Steven sent a message to Stephen Burke CEO, NBCUniversal, Inc. – email address that said:
Dear NBC,
Like many Americans I looked forward to the groundbreaking "Commander-n-Chief" debate between the two political party candidates, and like many Americans I was dumbfounded to see the inappropriate and unprofessional behavior of Mr. Matt Lauder. His lack of professionalism combined with his obvious agenda made the experience unforgettable for the wrong reasons.
NBC is so much better than this, Mr. Lauder was and will always be the wrong person for an assignment like this. He is a light weight and an annoying individual. He is NO Bryant Gumbel and I am still surprised NBC kept him on the today show.
All that being said, I hope NBC has learned from this awful experience and in the future please give the proper attention and professionalism the public deserves.
Sincerely,
Steven
