I am emailing on behalf of my reservations with the Double Tree – Galleria location – Christopher J Nassetta email address

VERNA sent a message to Christopher J. Nassetta – President and Chief Executive Officer of Hilton Worldwide – Email Address that said:

I am emailing on behalf of my reservations with the Double Tree - Galleria location being cancelled. I booked the hotel room Feb 8, 2015 not '16 with Expedia. I am a resident of Houston, TX and the Superbowl will be here in 2017. The hotel was booked because though I can not afford to attend the actual game, I can be in the mist of the activities. My son is 11 and a sports fan along with myself. A few nights ago, I so happened to call the hotel to make sure everything was in order with my reservation when I found out Darren S, head of the Revenue Department cancelled my reservation. I was confused and upset because all of the hotels are now completely booked with no space. Upon speaking with him, he lied to me on numerous occasions, stating that I was to pay a deposit fee, but that wasnt true. When booking the hotel, I selected the option to PAY AT HOTEL. Come to find out, hed taken it upon himself to run my credit card anyway. It declined and my room was given away. He told me that Expedia sent an email on July 25, 2016 and that too was a lie. Speaking with many reps that work for Expedia, it was proved that they were not told to send out an email to those of us that had to supposedly pay a deposit for our rooms. I understand now that he was only being sneaky, trying to double their money because Id gotten such a cheap rate for the room. If this is happening to me, I am sure he is doing this to other customers. No one should have to endure things like this and given a complete run around to situations. I could see if I chose the option of paying right then in 2015, but I did not. I would really appreciate if you could get back to me about this situation. I am reachable via email and phone  Thank you.
