Ken sent a message to Virginia M. Rometty Chairman, President, and CEO, IBM – email address that said:
Dear Mrs. Rometty,
Congratulations on an excellent interview yesterday on CNN's GPS yesterday.
I especially liked your many examples showing how Watson helps a wide variety of people in a growing number of fields.
And your use of augmented intelligence is terrific. It is a far better term than artificial intelligence or cognitive computing. It is much more easily understood. And it underscores your point about using advanced computing to help people. I hope IBM will start to use it more in the future.
With best regards from a retired IBM Communications person,
Ken
