My name is Jack and I am the Vice President of Future Business Leaders of America at Anderson High School. I have decided to study international business this year for our state-wide project. I’m interested in such studies because of my fascination in operating businesses, and my experience in learning foreign languages.
A few of my classmates and I have even began work on a global event: a mission trip. We are organizing a group named “Service Without Borders”. We have already recruited students and are planning on leading service projects near the Cincinnati area throughout the year. Every other year we plan to save up the money to complete a mission trip to some foreign area in need of aid. This gives me experience in contacting people internationally, and organizing plans for large groups of people which will ultimately give me more experience in the business world.
My classmates and I would really appreciate a few tips on how to begin and operate an international business. I have contacted you because you are a veteran businessman that I believe could teach us a lot.
