Good Morning, I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the problem I am having – Mark Fields email address

Good Morning,

I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the problem I am having with my 2015 Ford Focus and cannot get resolved. The car was purchased at Don Wood in Athens, Ohio.
When moving forward from a stop and when the car is going approximately 18-20MPH there is a horrible shake/shimmy and most often a rattling noise as the car is shaking.
It was shopped at Tansky Motors in Logan, Ohio 3 times and each time I was advised they could not detect a problem. At this point I was frustrated and contacted Ford Customer Service. A CSR supervisor advised she would contact the district manager in my area and he would be in touch. Randy Copeland did contact me a few days later. He suggested taking the car to a different Ford dealership. I called Don Wood in Athens and they were booked out several weeks. I made an appointment and when Don Wood immediately determined the clutch was defective and needed replaced but they advised due to the large number of Ford Focus clutches that had been replaced, this item was out of stock indefinitely. This was over 3 weeks ago and I am back at Square 1....a new car that is not dependable. and the gas mileage is horrible most likely due to the shifting/clutch issue. Due to the car not being dependable I had to rent a car to the tune of $351 to go on vacation early August. There is no way the car would pull the mountains, it will barely pull the Hocking Hills.
I have made attempts to contact Randy Copeland to see if he can assist but he does not ever answer his phone nor return calls when a voice message is left.
I would appreciate a response from you and possible info on resolution.

Regards,

Barbara
