Benjamin sent a message to Thomas M. Rutledge – Chief Executive Officer and President of Charter Communications, Inc. – Email Address that said:
Dear Mr. Rutledge,
I have been a loyal patron of Time Warner Cable ( now Charter Communications ) and ALWAYS have been paying my bills on time, sometimes a couple of months ahead of time. Unfortunately, sometimes when you are dealing with a big company, you are treated as a number ( bottom line profit ) rather than a person. Internet companies are a matured market and highly competitive. I was introduced to a special internet rate of $34.99 this year and would like to continue my service with TWC. My wife and I have been making phone calls, trying to talk sense that we would like to have this offer continue with your company but we are getting no where. TWC always say, "Unfortunately, this introductory rate is... ". Whenever you begin a sentence with “ Unfortunately" you will drive customers away. Your sales associates are always trying to sell us an upgraded service that we don't need and we have repeatedly reiterate that we are just happy the special rate we got. 2017 is fast approaching and our 'contract' will end soon. It is our sincere hope that TWC can accommodate us with the said rate of $34.99 for our loyalty to your company. We like this service and prayerfully TWC will reciprocate. Internet consumers have a lot of purchasing power. For internet companies, the best business is return business. You want us to come back to you. Once you have spent your sales and marketing dollars to get us here, you want to do your best to get us back. Some family like us are bound to loyalty. May be this letter will do nothing but at least extend us the courtesy of being a loyal customer who pays his bill MONTHS AHEAD of time. Thank you for taking the time from your busy schedule to read this email Mr. Rutledge. My family wants to create a great partnership with TWC if you give us a chance.
Blessings,
Benjamin
