Jason sent a message to Chua Sock Koong CEO, SingTel – email address that said:
Dear Mr Chua,
I am sorry to bother you, but thought you may be interested.
I am a subscriber of singnet fiber broadband and mio TV: Being a subscriber of internet service for a while since dial up till now of fiber, I am really disappointed with the service quality.
I signed up mio in February with add-on of chinese program, where 50% discount for the add-on for 6 months was promised with a tag that after July I have to call up tge service hotline, recontract my broadband service and will enjoy the 50% off the add-on till end of contract, and am assured as told already document Ed even in the voice agreement read and affirm.
I called in September, as was busy with my late fathers final days and the after lifes arrangement. I was told nothing of such is possible as then the promotion is different. After much of sore experience with the SingTel staff, finally managed to speak with Kelvin a customer service manager, as informed.
Kelvin get back after several days informing that the deal can not be hourned as promotion is different since, proposed with recontacting with $15 discount monthly for full contracted period of 24months, additional with a one time bill deduction of $49.90 so for the mio TVs add-on non ability to honour of promised.
7 October, I called with intention to recontract, but was then told nothing of such, current promotion is recontract with $15 monthly discount for 24 contractual months, the one time bill deduction again will not be hourned. Request to speak with a managerial staff. Premium called to informed that he questioned his staff why is this customer given $15 discount, should only be $10 instead. He insist that the $15 is not to be hourned by S8ngtel, and only be $10 monthly. Further sadden , when was told, if to recontract he is ab)e to assist 8n facilitation with the clause mentioned, or if to terminate the service. Asking him why is that so, replied as this is the companys policy.
I wish to know and affirm that is it Singtels policy to breach and not to honor whatbis been pledge or confered ? Writing to this moment I am wondering if this mail ever gets to you, and what if it gets to you, as was told of the companys policy, does anybody really cares?
