In August 2016 I went to 5/3 ATM at 4672 Pine St., Hamilton, MI. I was depositing cash. The machine kept some of my cash and gave me a ticket that said to contact a bank. I then went to the ATM at 800 E 16th St., Holland, MI. The same thing happened, the ATM kept some of my cash and gave me a ticket. I went to a third ATM at 12443 Riley St., Holland, MI. I called the Customer Service Department. I couldn 't get to a bank right away but within days I went to the 5/3 bank at 16th Street in Holland. I talked to a teller and a customer service person. The customer service person told me that I had to contact the conflict resolution center. I also called the Customer Service hotline and they told me to contact the Conflict Resolution Center. I did that and the guy took my complaint. The bank credited my account with $200. I received a letter dated September 21, 2016 stating that their ATMs balanced and the $200 would be reversed from my account. What happened to the cash that the ATM kept? In my opinion somebody at the bank stole my money.
How can your complaint be satisfactorily addressed?
I would like to have the money back that the ATM kept. I'm not sure of the amount because the ATM stopped counting in the middle of the transaction. I'm guessing it was around $50 at each ATM.
