Michelle sent a message to Mark Fields – President and Chief Executive Officer of Ford Motor Company email address that said:
My name is Michelle. I am a 54 years of age, a veteran of the US army and a single mom of two children, 12 and 15. My 15 year old son, was born with Spina Bifida and hydrocephalus. He gets around by a wheel chair. I attached the wheel chair to the rear of the of the 1994 Ford Explorer. In 2013 the transmission was rebuild the second time. It was easier for me fix than make monthly payments on new vehicle. My monthly income is $1,238.00. The 94 Ford explorer has been good to me and the children. In August of this year the front brake wires broke while the children and I were in the vehicle. It was repaired along with the back brakes. The heat recently stop working. Is it possible to give us a used floor model SUV with a hitch so I can carry the wheel chair at the rear.
