Felicia sent a message to Dan Schulman – President and CEO of PayPal – Email Address that said:
Dear Mr. Schulman,
I recently did a transaction through your company and the seller misrepresented the goods. I went to PayPal for help and they upheld the seller's argument. While I have never had a claim with PayPal, I called told my side and no one ever contacted me to ask to see the goods at all, they just arbitrarily upheld the seller in a bait and switch scheme. I loved using your company and now I will NEVER use your company to purchase ANYTHING. I am including my response to your company's service email. So sorry you do not value your customers.
Dear PayPal,
I believe you just let this seller get away with a crime called "Bait and Switch". The shoes are OBVIOUSLY not a 5.5 although they are marked as such. I believe the seller knew this information but withheld it. Since you decided to stand by a criminal and or unscrupulous person I am now withdrawing my business from you and I will tell ANYONE who will listen that you choose to back a criminal minded person and allow them to dupe your honest customers out of their money while you stand up for them. This has been a horrible experience for me and now I feel penalized while you reward a criminal for criminal behavior. Now that I know that you will let people get away with swindling good, honest people out of their money I have to, in good conscious stop using your service. It dismays me that you would allow this to happen and lose a good customer rather than pursuing this criminal that uses your services. You say you protect your customers, I don't feel protected at all!! I am also sending this email to your CEO. Amazon would have NEVER let this happen to one of their customers and brushed it off so casually. So disappointed in you PayPal.
Respectfully,
Felicia
