Paula sent a message to Stuart Gulliver Group CEO, HSBC Holdings PLC – email address that said:
Good morning. I am at my wits end re my personal bank account and extremely stressed. Due to having a baby, I took an agreed 'payment holiday' for 2 months. I am back to work on Monday. As well as setting up a business account with yourselves, I have balanced my finances to the best of my ability and pride myself on my impeccable credit rating. However, communication has broken down as HSBC have reneged on the deal and said that I misunderstood what they offered. They say that I'm not 'in arrears' with my loan and credit card (which they suggested at the time) and no-one is helping me to cut through this. They told me that I could go into any branch and pay £10 to listen to my call but the manager of Swadlincote branch was refused when he tried to do this with me. No-one can give me a clear answer and this is causing me a great deal of stress and I feel ill. I am sent from pillar to post. Apparently there is a letter in the post - I was told this on Monday - but still not received. PLEASE can you help me to sort this out? Kind regards, Paula. I have always been such a good customer.
