Good afternoon Mary,

I bought a brand new 2016 Camaro in mosiac black that you can see the primer through the paint on both rear fenders and doors. This is a known issue I see all over the internet yet everyone wants to act like it is their first time hearing of it. I have met with the dealer twice ( Mac in Houston) and have no answers. I am dealing with Brian Caldwell ( service manager) who can't contact me back, and Mark McQuiggin the body shop manager. I pointed out the red primer in my paint and Mark says he can't say if its suppose to be there or not. He won't look at the paint mixure to confirm though. So I had a reputable paint shop verify the mixture and also a Sherwin Williams automotive store and sure enough it should not be noticeable. So trying to say the visible primer is a red tint in the paint isn't going to work for them. I have been asking to speak to a the GM district manager to resolve my issue because the dealer doesn't want to help even though they took my money. A matter of fact I would never trust these guys to touch my car with the way they have treated me. I have also sent photos to John the customer service rep I've been dealing with on the phone. I need some help. I bought a $40K+ car that needs a new paint job and no one wants to help me out. I can be contacted . Also, I can forward you the string of emails if you like.
