Ms Whitman

I am a former HP/HPE employee previously represented HP at MCAS Miramar San Diego California. I became an HP employee from the acquisition of EDS in 2008. I was offered a transfer to MCAS MRMR on May 14th 2014 for a salary of $53,000.00 a year and after the manager did not honor this offer several affected employees came forward with a complaint and then an investigation pursued. To my disbelief HP found that even though an offer was made verbally for the transfer there was no evidence of wrong doing and no unethical behavior either. Manager Brian Hammond was in communication with us because he felt more research needed to be done on this case. All of a sudden he laid off some and moved some of his lower management and our issue was never resolved. Unfortionatly HP never resolved the issue of the almost twenty thousand dolars that was owed to me. I worked very hard and represented HP with the government for almost 10 years and this situation maybe long forgotten with some still hasn't sat well with me. (unresolved) I left HP on March 21st 2016 for a position with CSRA for pay that was nineteen thousand dolar a year more . It wasn't until I put in my two week notice was HP willing to counter off with more money. Trust because a factor of why I could not stay with HP. Not that HP should be held accountable for a lower managers actions but that HP defending him in reference to a real dishonest action and really even legal one is what is a problem with the culture. Up to this point I was a very proud HP employee. I have been following you since the days you were a candidate for governor of California and supported your message. I have faith in you as a person and just curious is you can give an indication of interest in this matter or if it simply will stay as water under the bridge, dirt under the carpet. respectfully former HP employee.
