Debra sent a message to Kelcy Warren – Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Energy Transfer Partners, L. P. Email Address that said:

Dear Mr Warren,
You don't know me, I am a women from the uk, a human being just like you. I was quite shocked when I saw your picture,as your eyes look friendly and kind.
I feel compelled to write to you, although previously having been in a pretty high powered job myself I'm not sure this email will ever reach your eyes. I'm also now very sick.
I understand big buisiness, capitalism and the corporate dollar, what I don't understand is the need to subjugate fellow human beings to get it.
The laying and implementing of Your Dakota pipeline does exactly this to a nation who are already on the back foot of white supremacy. I see calling as it is so sorry if this offends you, not my task just as I see history.
Ansestory, family, love is all we have whilst we are here on planet earth. We are born with nothing, we die with nothing, we all aim to leave a legacy for our children and grand children.
Im sure you must have children in your life. I am certain you are really a considerate human and could be a realistic force for protection.
the native Americans are just trying to protect their heritage.
Now I know somewhere in your souls lies a heart, I know it will probably cost you a fortune but a fortune when you die you don't take it with you. Surely it's better to look deep into your soul and find the hero you are meant to be, be the change, be the man that changed history for the Native American. Be the hero at the 12th hour who rocks up and saves the day. See how glorious your name would be preserved in history for your children. A man of great people who priorities people over money. There are too few of these left in the world Mr Warren, please stand up and be amazing. I know this is something that will charge the world with a great deal of happiness and safeguard the Native American Indians and their land. I am no one, I have nothing but my family and my true love of the planet and all we have here. We want every last tree, lake and insect to be around for our great great grandchildren, please be the human that changes the tide of big industry.
Thank you.
