Mike sent a message to Don Thompson President and CEO, McDonald’s – email address that said:
I like to talk to you about my Son Michael He has work for McDonald's for over 18 years most of them as a G.M. ,This past year he had something happen at his store in Paris Illinois which the owner fired him.He was going to the bank with the deposit, He got into his car at the store forgot something inside went back into the store and when he came out the money bag was gone, His crime. He forgot to lock his car. The owner called the cops on him which he was taken to the Paris Police station for 4 hours then released, The owners told him he would have to pay the money back it was $16,000.00. My son didn't take the money!!! He has been a decade employee of McDonals he was next in line to be a Supervisor over several store which was his dream. Now the owners are telling him they are going to take him to court. He is worried sick over this. He has a family with 3 kids and a wife. He has won several awards from McDonald's. All his customers and employees really like him. Is there anything you can do for him I and my wife would appreciate it. Thank you for your time. Mike
