Sharon sent a message to Robert Iger – Chairman and CEO, The Walt Disney Company – Email Address that said:
Robert my daughter son in law and grandson had a wonderful time at Disney Orlando I have been several times we live in Canada and I have always enjoyed holidays in Florida. During our time at the different parks we had a wonderful time except for one thing. My grandson is four years old and we found it very difficult when we would approach a ride he would get measured to see if he could get on the ride. Then as we stood in line for the ride he would be pulled aside again to be measured again this upset him and some times he didn't want to leave the line. As I feel this is important and your staff was doing there job very well I find that when you give your ticket to get in the park it would be better for the children if they were measured there. Then you could have coloured wrist bands that represent there hight then when they are going to the ride your employees can tell how tall they are for the ride. You could also have signs at the entrance saying what arm bands are allowed this would help the children in two ways. You would not have to disappoint them to measure them at the entrance and then disappoint them that they are not tall enough. It would also help not to have to take them out of line to measure them before they get on the ride. I really think this is a very important change that would work well to make parents day a less stressful day. Thanks for reading and a response would be great. Sharon
