Sir, I have an urgent issue that I desperately need help with. I have extenuating circumstances regarding a student account that I helped my son open 11 years ago. I am disabled as of Sept. 5 this year. I had to wait almost 2 years to get that approval and was nearly destitute. I am now being told that I cannot get insurance due to my name being attached to my son's account with this bank. I simply signed to help him open a bank account and thought nothing more of it and neither did he. I have never used this nor even knew the account number. He cannot simply close it out because he has legal issues that have this number in it due to a custody trial that he has on 11/22/16. His child support as well as legal fees are being drafted out and his lawyer advised against changing anything at this late date before the trial. Please can you help? I just need my name as his disabled mother off so I can get my insurance and so I don't interrupt any of the legal issues he has pending with his son, my 4 year old grandson. Please help us.
