Tracey sent a message to Nigel Travis Chairman and CEO, Dunkin’ Brands Group, Inc. – email address that said:
Dear Sir,
I have recently been unfairly terminated by one of your franchisees. This goes against the credibility of what your corporate responsibilities read. I have been wrongly terminated, discriminated against, lied to, ignored, and most importantly not placed in the position that I applied and hired for. This is no way to treat individuals -especially those like myself (a veteran) that have fought for everyone's freedom in this country, to give people the opportunity to have a business of their own.
This franchisee is a disgrace to the brand. I went through my proper chain of command to find resolution to no avail. I am waiting to hear from HR (Katie Ford) however, the way things are going , I feel like this will be another brick wall. After trying to get some answers through the corporate number, it appears that franchisees have no accountability, nor need to be accountable for their less than professional practices. I have been unable to find a job for 3 years and thought this was my blessing I have been waiting for. Unfortunately, it was a nightmarish curse.
Please sir, I am respectfully requesting that you respond to this message, as these types of things should not be happening. When you allow these types of situations to go on, it only empowers them (the franchisee) to continue their abuse.
Sincerely,
Tracey
