Tino sent a message to Lee Kun-Hee Chairman, Samsung – email address that said:
Dear Mr. Lee Kun-Hee/ Chairman Samsung
I'm sorry that i write to you directely, but Its been a really unpleasant situation to have to deal with your company agent in Lebanon, that used to have upper standard in dealing with clients. In fact I visited your bazar few days ago to buy a TV for Christmas and got one (thinking that was the best deal) for 700 Dollars with one month warranty!!!!! and without a remote control!!!!!!!! (as the salesman said I can buy it from your company directly because its missing from the box)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
After several calls to your hotline, it appeared that there is no remote control for the TV I got so I went looking elsewhere before I open the new TV and use it. I found that some distributors are selling the same TV I got with one year warranty, a remote control and a delivery service with installation with a much cheaper price!!!!!!!!!!!.
I contacted your call center asking to return the TV but I got one rude answer to try to check with the bazar, I asked for their telephone number, but the employee on the phone said he doesnt know it and that they found me a remote control for 58$ !!!!!(as I recall) please do the math to see the difference.
WHAT A SCAM.....
Now maybe using some written communication I might get a clear response to my need.
I need your company to take back the TV and give me back the money I paid.
I still have the Invoice of the TV I got from your Bazar and a quotation I got from a distributor with a much cheaper price, but i cannot attach them for you here....Sorry
I have written to you this letter to let you know how much your people here in Lebanon are destroying Samsung excellent reputation you build till today...
WHAT A SANTA CLAUSE GIFT....
Kindly advise,
On behalf of my Daughter Henriette.
