I am calling you today to voice my opposition to the Dakota Access Pipeline and the actions of police at Standing Rock. I am appalled at the militarized force being used against peaceful protesters. I implore you to put an end to this unnecessary military and police violence that is both unethical, inhumane and can lead to deaths caused directly by your unconstitutional decisions. Additionally, emergency resources being used against peaceful civilians with tax-payer money is completely unwarranted. I am in full support of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe and other communities in their justified fight against this dangerous and destructive pipeline. Put an end to this heartless and irresponsible police action and remove officers from Standing Rock.
