Chris sent a message to Michael J. Jackson – Chief Executive Officer of AutoNation Inc. – Email Address that said:
Hi Mike,
You may or may not remember me from Bethesda/Rockville area. I'm out of the business now- I sold my store to John Darvish. I made a very good deal for the franchise and the property. I loved the business but have to admit that I'm glad I'm out now. Anyway, my son Michael is a professor at FAU and lives with his wife Catherine and one year old son Zachary in Miramar, Florida. He needs a new car and would like to buy a Jeep. I think you have a store in Pembroke Pines which is close to him. Could you give me some direction on where to go and who to see about a new Jeep. He has a ten year old Dodge pickup that may need an engine- not worth much. I'm going to visit him soon and would like to help him through the process of buying a new car. I realize you are very busy but if you could set me up with someone at one of your stores I would greatly appreciate it. I hope this message finds you and your family well. I must tell you that every time I see you nationally either on tv or in print, I feel a sense of pride. We both have roots from Bethesda Avenue- I'm proud that you have been so successful. Again, I don't mean to impose - just trying to help my son. You have my email. should you want to call. Thank you and have a great holiday season.
Chris.
