Mary sent a message to Peter Hancock – President and Chief Executive Officer of AIG Email Address that said:
Dear Mr. Hancock,
I am writing to you after several frustrating months of trying to have my travel insurance claim addressed. I purchased Travel Guard Insurance on two plane tickets for my husband and me. Approximately a month after the purchase of these tickets and insurance, my husband developed a second cancer and had to undergo chemotherapy during the time we were to travel. He is still undergoing chemotherapy. I have been working with Bonita-Kelly and Heather Hayes (who has never returned my calls). Last week I was told I would get a check for $700.40. Today I went on line to check the status of my claim and found that I am being sent a check for half that amount. Is your company saying I should have left my sick husband and traveled?
