Good Evening Mr. Pant,
I am writing to you because of the concern of my employment with KFC in Ottawa at 932 St-laurent Blvd, I was an employee there for a little over 1 yr and went on sick leave and was suppose to return to work as of November 5th 2016, I have not returned to work as of yet and had no other choice to find another employment due to the fact when it was time for me to return i was told that there was no place for me to , which i was on unemployment sick leave and was told by unemployment that this was not right they had to give me back my job. Now i am at the point where I was told by the Unemployment that KFC must pay me for the time i was suppose to return to work, which was November 5th 2016. I did speak and meet with Darrel which is the Regional Manager for KFC in Ottawa and also tried to speak with the Area manager Pierre he refused to speak with me. I am now in the position of having no other options but to put in a Sue Claim through the unemployment due to the fact that they have not even as much gave me a ROE stating that i was fired, dismissed or nothing, and neither did I myself give them any indication that i was quitting I was on Sick Leave only.. I have written to Darrell explaining the situation and i never heard anything back from him not even as much as an e-mail or a phone call. I will forward the e-mail i sent to Darrell so that you know what has been going on and never did he have the decency to reply me.. Furthermore i was also told that KFC/Soul Restaurant is Liable to be paying my wages from the time I was suppose to return to work. I will forward the letter to you in another e-mail. The e-mail i wrote to Darrell that is. So this is the reason why I am writing to you as you are the CEO of Yum/KFC i also remember seeing you in KFC Restaurant on St-Laurent when you and other CEO's were there. I would like some answers if it's possible ASAP before I decide to make the final decision on Sueing KFC for misrepresentation.
