Sorry to be writing to you so late but i was with a migraine.
I wanted to let you know that i was contacted by the unemployment today asking me why i haven't returned to my regular job at KFC as November 5th 2016 because my sick leave benefits were done. When November 5th 2016 I had to spoke to Kaylen about returning to work and i was told there was no opened position for me, but i was told today that that is not possible because you were on sick leave and now ready to return to your regular employment. So it's my understanding that i should be returned to my regular cashier job as of November 5th 2016.
At the moment you are contemplating wether or not i should return to work but that is in the case of a delivery driver the issue here is me returning back as a Cashier like the unemployment said I should of been returned as of November 5th so what I am asking is why has this not happened? I was out on sick leave and was capable of returning back on the date i have said November 5th 2016. When Kaylen told me he had no available position i remember telling him that it's not possible because i am returning from sick leave to my regular job...
Darrell i am not wanting to arise anymore issues but to my knowledge i should of been back inside as a Cashier from the date i was told and asked.
Please can you clarify this with me ASAP because it is also to my understanding that Unemployment said that since i am not returned to my regular employment that Soul Restaurant/KFC can be liable to pay my wages from the time i should have returned..
Sorry for the inconveniences but I was told this by the EI department today..
