I just wanted to say that lately, I have not been satisfied with Best Buy. I’m an Elite Plus Member and have spent a lot of money within the last 3 years to maintain my status as an Elite Plus. Last year, I was wanted to purchase an opened box over-the-range microwave that was listed at your Glendora CA store. The listing indicated that the microwave was in excellent condition. Due to the distant, I called to make sure that the item was in stock and that no parts were missing. I spoke to an employee who assured me (without checking) according to the store computer, which no parts were missing. I drove 80 miles (1hr, 24mins) to the store. When I arrived I was directed to the microwave, which was missing the majority of the parts, manual and instruction template.
On 12/27/2016, I saw an opened box Kitchen Aid Dishwasher listed at your Pasadena, CA store. The listing indicated that the dishwasher was in excellent condition. I made the online purchase and waited to receive the email indicated that the dishwasher was available for pick-up. On 12/28/2016, I drove 65 miles (1hr, 8mins) to the Pasadena store. I presented by order number and the associate (Sharon) at the pick-up counter was unable to locate the dishwasher. An associate (Male Hispanic) from Pacific Sales then checked the sales floor and warehouse for the dishwasher, with no luck. The dishwasher could not be located, period. Sharon felt bad that I drove such a long distant and not to have my item available. Sharon asked the Pacific Sales associate if he could find another dishwasher that was compatible with the purchase price and quality, only to be told no without talking to the store manager. I asked if he could sale me the floor model for the same price since I drove such a long distant and he said no. This is twice that Best Buy misrepresents a product. Sharon was very nice but the rest of my experience SUCKED BIG TIME. I’m really considering taking my business to another store.
