Hi,
I actually wanted to give you some feedback on Bombas. I had already provided this feedback after purchasing socks last year and the customer service people didn't seem to care so I thought that I would relay it to you.
I love the concept, love the charity involved and so purchased socks after seeing a Facebook ad around the middle of last year. When I did, because I finally remembered that I had a credit on it, I used a credit card that I had not used in probably about a year. Within a few weeks of the purchase, that credit card had $1200 worth of fraudulent charges on it. As I had made other online purchases the same day using other cards, and had no other attempts at fraud, it made me feel as if the Bombas online payment site is not as secure as it should be. I understand that these things happen, but, as I said, I made other purchases with other cards online that day and this was the only one impacted. Again, I'd not used it in a very long time which made it stick out even more.
I called to share this (not to complain as I know things happen, but to share as they might want to look into it) and the person I spoke with didn't care at all. Because of the way the information was received, I won't ever purchase Bombas again. I care about the security of a payment source and the person who answered the phone obviously didn't. I hope that you will take this more seriously than they did.
Thank you.
Karen
