Robert sent a message to Marvin R. Ellison – President of J. C. Penney Company Inc.- email address that said:
Dear Mr. Ellison,
Just wanted to write to you and let you know of the POOR customer service I received today. I place the order below on Sunday, January 8, 2017 and then received notice that the items shipped on Monday morning. I went back on the website on Monday, January 9, 2017 and found that the items were a little cheaper. (Original total $122.88 and new total would be $114.58) In today's time every "penny" counts not only to me but according to your website. I called the customer service number and explained the situation to the rep and she stated "Sorry, theres nothing I can do for you". So, I asked to speak with a supervisor...well that was a mistake. The SUPERVISOR immediately got on the defense, was EXREMELY RUDE and told me there wasn't anything she could or would do then proceeded to HANG UP on me. I was just dumfounded....couldn't believe the service that I just received. I realize that we are only talking about $8.30 but there is NO NEED to be nasty, rude and then hang up on the customer.
I have ALWAYS liked J.C. Penney but this has left a bad taste in my mouth and will probably reconsider the next time I am shopping.
