I've been a returning customer of Sears my entire life.
As a successful businessman and investor, I see that you are all smiles.
Recently, I've become aware that managers (with families) at a local Kmart have been basically fired without any advanced notice. They are not smiling. They came into work for their shift as usual, were called into the office, handed their pink slips, and told to leave.
I find this type of corporate behavior shameful and cowardly . I guess that's why I could never be a CEO.
My bottom line would incorporate some compassion and respect for my fellow human beings (employees) and would not be based solely on corporate profits. It's quite sad, as President Trump would say. My heart goes out to those faithful employees who went to work as usual without knowing that in a few minutes they would no longer have a job. . . .
. . . . but I guess that's capitalism at it's heartless best.
