Hello,
I am very upset with DTE. I was in a car accident a year ago and have been on disability since. I have made all my payments but had to file chapter 13 bankruptcy due to other credit card bills. I have ALWAYS paid my electric and never had it shut off. Now I get another bill added $191.00 for a deposit from DTE. I called the normal 1-800 number for DTE and the manager was of no help! I am so upset beyond words can say. I cant afford to pay $191.00 on top of another $208.95 due for my
bill this month for a total of 399.95. I dont understand how this can be done. I have ALWAYS paid and never missed paying and never had my electric shut off. I dont feel punishing someone for trying to get their life back on track is a fair way to treat them. Please call me ASAP 586-983-8344 I need to get this resolved.
