David Starr sent a message to Mary Barra CEO, General Motors Company - email address that said:
I am 69 years old and have owned GM cars exclusively since my first car: a 1961 Impala purchased in 1964. I am probably one of the most loyal GM customers you have. I currently own a 2015 Silverado, a 2009 Lucerne, a 1963 Impala SS and a 1962 Impala SS. I am very disturbed that you are selling the Buick Envision made in China in the US. This is probably the most un- American car for sale in our country. A Toyota assembled in the US is more American. Driving an Invision gives a false impression to most people that you are a patriotic American. I was heart broken to find out yesterday that a fellow member of the Vintage Chevrolet Club Of America purchased one. I will never own a car built anywhere but in the US or Canada. We need these UAW/CAW jobs to help boost the falling standard of living in North America. When you stop building cars here I will buy an American built Ford if available or just continue driving my old ones.
David Starr, ( my family has been American since before the American Revolution)
