I recently went into the store in my town of Bend OR at the old mill shopping center to try and preorder the Nintendo switch but when I got there I missed the first allotment. So I went ahead and signed up for information about the second allotment verified my email address and everything so it was correct. Every day since I went in there on Jan 18th Ive checked and rechecked my email for information about the second allotment. I received an email this last Friday the 10th saying 1000 guest at random would be selected to get a Nintendo switch. So Saturday morning I showed up 45 min before the store opening thinking it was the second allotment and I needed to beat the line which I did only to be told by the staff at the store that it wasnt the second allotment and 1000 guests nationwide would be picked by their email to come in and pre order a switch and I was told to keep checking my email for an email about the second allotment. So I went ahead and traded my Xbox one in for credit and have been waiting. Now we come to today...
I called the only store in my town today which is the one at 450 SW Powerhouse Dr Bend Oregon 97702, and had the displeasure of being put on hold for 15 min by shila (I dont know if thats spelled right) only to finally be hung up on and never checked again. When I called back she asked me if she can place me on hold and I replied as long as I dont wait 15 min to be hung up on again sure and she denied hanging up on me and told me she was the only one working and said she would help me real quick so I asked her about the second switch allotment and she told me that the second allotment came last week and the first person that came got it and it was already claimed. I told her I never received an email that the second allotment was coming. This was an outrage and she was completely rude about it and told me if I didnt have any more questions she was going to disconnect... I asked for a manager and she said he wasnt in today and she was the only one in the store. And I could call back tomorrow... all I wanted to know and still want to know is where was my email saying the second allotment was coming?!?! My other question how can a store be ran without a manager on duty?
