Yesterday (14-March-2017) night two orders were mistakenly placed from my samsung account. So, today (15-March-2017) at 12:25pm I sent an email for the order cancellation to the support department.
As per samsung eshop policy order can be cancelled within 24 hours of placing the order or before a dispatch notification and I fulfilled both the conditions. My items were dispatched today at 4:02pm and 4:14pm but I have already sent a cancellation request.
Now, support people say it can not be cancelled because it is dispatched but I completed my responsibilities fully. Why should the customer be punished?
I have been a long samsung customer and something like this has happened for the first time as it is online shop.
I hope a billion dollar company keep its words and follow the policy that they themselves have written on their eshop website regarding cancellation.
Also, as per policy I will not receive the item and send it back to the courier as it is mentioned in the policy.
