This was sent as a complaint to the Florida Department of Insurance.
I am requesting that you send this complaint to the CEO of Auto-Owners Insurance.
I was asked by an agent named Ania Consuegra 800-783-1269, ext. 8463
from Auto-Owners Insurance to provide a written estimate from any
repair shop of my choice. I faxed to Ms. Consuegra an estimate from
Therber Collision Center for damages in the amount of $2120.60.
Ms. Consuegra sent me a check in the amount of $2046.99 which is
short of the damage estimate amount. I have also emailed several
requests for a rental while my vehicle is getting repaired only to
get no response from Ms. Consuegra or any other representative from
Auto-Owners Insurance. Ms. Consuegra has continued to ignore my
emails and I am requesting that you make this company comply with
Florida Statutes 626 and penalize this company to the fullest
extent of the law. I have all emails and documents to support my
complaint
