I filed a claim of water damage/leaking/drainage/stop after the tenant left me a note on the door,(was not able to get in touch with the tenant since they left the property) there was a good amount of damage done to the flooring/vanities the carpet. As soon I found out, I called my agent immediately to report the damage. 3 or 4 days later I was contacted from one of their offices in Newnan, Ga. My conversation with the agent was recorded after numerous questions from the agent concerning the matter which I answered all!! 3 days later I received a letter as an affidavit document which I was totally surprised, 2 days later an adjuster was sent to the location, again explained everything to him, I also asked him why affidavit document was sent to me? he stated; not to worry about that yet!! he also asked me to provide a contract that I had with the tenant ( which I did) I also asked him if need an estimate. He said; No I do not need it I have took enough photos, later he came by and asked me if he can take photo of the estimate? I said that is fine. he stated I will be getting a phone call from their office which I never received, I called their main office yesterday and the representative stated ; I will call you today with an answer concerning your claim; again she never called, I called again this morning and the agent stated she will have an answer this evening ... she called me back at 1900 and asked me to provide more info,,, again the same info that I provided when I filed the claim ,,,, she was not satisfied demanded I provide a water bill from the city, I explained to her; the water is not under my name it was under the tenants name... she wouldnt allow me to answer or talk since she was doing all the talking in a VERY RUDE MANNER ... after she refused to listen to me, I said to her ; I have nothing to say you since you are not allowing me to speak ... at the end of conversation she stated she will not be able to process this claim until I provide her with more info. And forthat reason I have filed a complaint with Office of Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner Ga ,,,, your staff are RUDE and they will anything thing to get out of paying a claim WHAT A SHAME !!!!!
