To whom it may concern:
My name is Jeanette H. Harden. I have been a loyal customer of Harveys for numerous years. In the last two weeks I have experienced poor customer service. The store is in Swainsboro, Ga. The store number is #1616. The employees name is Patrick. On two occasions he was very disrespectful. On last week I was in the checkout line, he was at the register with no customers. I turn around to speak to someone. When I turned around he had turned the light off and walked away. I questioned him to find out out what the problem was and he replied he wasnt a mind reader and responded with a very ugly attitude. I let it pass. On Monday of this same employee was at the register. Against my better judgement I went to his register anyway. As I was taking my grocery off of the cart, I noticed the monitor that allowed me to see the prices of what I was purchasing was turned off. I questioned him about the situation. His reply was that I wasting time because I watching the monitor when I should have been paying more attention to getting the food out of the cart. Now I am upset because I am the only person in that line and it is my right to see the price of what I am purchasing. Not only that was a young lady waiting for me, when she stood at the end of the checkout, he told her to bag the grocery while she was wasting time. She was not an employee. He was just plain rude and disrespectful. I reported this to one of the managers. Her name is Amanda. I dont know what action was taken, but I felt the need to let you know about this employee. I have never had any problems out of any cashiers in my entire shopping at this store. I am addressing the matter so that no other customer will experience what I did at the particular store.
