Good afternoon,
I am a small business owner with a relatively new account with bbt. My wife has had her business account approximately 2 years including her account with a bank you aquired. I have been with bbt approximately 4 months.
During the last several months we have had nothing but problems accessing my wifes account and encountered nothing but rude individuals on the phobe. Most recently with my account a small ertor recording a charge led to me being charged $72.00 overdraft fees on my account. A closer look shows that i deposited cash to cover the small overdrawn amount prior to the 2 charges posting but have been told there is nothing that can be done because i am a new customer. $72.00 may not seem like much but to a small business owner it is. We are talking about a $20.00 and $15.00 charge costing me $72.00 in fees. What is worse is that the money to cover was deposited prior to charges posting. I really hope that this is just a mix up and can be corrected because my wifes account and my account will not remain at a bank who cant help out a small business over 1 small clerical error.
